Always report it to the police if you believe your dog has been stolen. Take pictures of your dog on a regular basis. if you find your dog you will need pictures and a police report to help you prove that it is your dog.

Your pet may be at risk.Try not to leave your pet unattended outside. If you must have your dog outside with no one home, secure your dog so that it is not an easy target.

It is becoming more and more frequent that dogs are being stolen and abused or stolen to sell. The main kind being stolen are the "Bully" breeds. (Pitbulls, Boxers, Bulldogs) If you have had a dog stolen within the last year and are in the Pee Dee region we are willing to put the picture on this website to help you find you pet. Fill out the form we have on this site and mail it to us along with the dogs picture.

!!Important!!

1.If you have purchased any of these dogs or if you have seen any of these dogs and have any information about them please contact the Florence Sheriff's Dept. and/or us at our email address.

2. If you are buying a dog from someone, make sure that you know their correct name and it is a good idea to have some kind of receipt (purchase agreement) that they sign. If they do not want to prove their identity then it is possible that the dog may be stolen. People who are not doing something wrong do not normally have a problem with telling you who they are. If you are caught with a stolen dog and do not have the information on the person who sold it to you, you may be charged with a crime.
